MBDA UK Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing Engineer Apprentice to join our team in Stevenage.

">About the Role

This exciting opportunity offers a unique chance to take ownership of manufacturing engineering processes and equipment, making improvements to production while developing new skills and techniques.

">Responsibilities
  • Translate design requirements into user instructions, including the development of project manufacturing architecture.
  • Coordinate day-to-day support to operations staff within the manufacturing facility.
  • Support existing manufacturing lines and new product introduction.
  • Manage configuration control by embodying design modifications into manufacturing documentation and industrial validation.
  • Ensure products are produced with consideration to safety, efficiency, and economic factors.

Requirements:

  • Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3.
  • AND Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject OR BEng in relevant Engineering Degree.
  • Able to interpret Design Drawings with a view to producing Manufacturing Build Instructions.
  • Awareness of digital communication platforms to work and communicate effectively within the workplace.

What We Offer

  • Up to £52,000 per annum (dependent on experience), salary estimated based on industry standards for the role and location.
  • Pension: maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14%.
  • Overtime: opportunity for paid overtime.
