Materials Sourcing Manager

They are seeking a Materials Sourcing Manager to join their industrious procurement and supply chain department. This role involves careful selection and purchasing of materials and goods for manufacturing activities, ensuring compliance with the company's procurement policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and purchasing materials and goods required for manufacturing activities
- Conducting market research to identify new suppliers and vendors
- Negotiating contracts, terms and prices with suppliers and vendors
- Managing supplier and vendor relationships
- Collaborating with other departments to determine their product and service needs
- Preparing and processing purchase orders and documentation
The Ideal Candidate:
- Strong negotiation skills and experience handling a large spend
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with procurement software
