Digital Threat Protection Manager
We are seeking an experienced Digital Threat Protection Manager to join our team at Digital Waffle. In this role, you will take responsibility for creating and maintaining a secure digital environment using your expertise to protect data, systems, and network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in cybersecurity management, ideally within a medium-to-large organisation. They should also have extensive knowledge of security technologies, risk assessment, and vulnerability management. Additionally, they should have hands-on experience with security monitoring tools and incident response.
The estimated salary for this role is up to £75,000 + Bonus. We value familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST frameworks, and strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, with an ability to explain technical matters to non-technical stakeholders, are also highly desirable.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect our IT environment, establishing, enforcing, and regularly updating security policies, protocols, and standards, managing real-time threat detection, incident response, and conducting vulnerability assessments to safeguard our infrastructure.
