Agricultural Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance and Operations Technician with a strong technical background and mechanical bias to join our team at Agricultural Recruitment Specialists®.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have expertise in boiler maintenance, first aid certification, and excellent health & safety awareness. They should also possess a proactive attitude, strong communication and collaboration skills, and be able to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdowns promptly.
- Carrying out PPM tasks and responding to breakdowns efficiently
- Conducting boiler maintenance and inspecting pressure systems (steam, condensate, and air)
- Ensuring the plant is safely isolated for colleagues and contractors to carry out work
The successful candidate will be responsible for recording maintenance tasks in daily logs and Asset Master systems, maintaining high standards of housekeeping, and supporting site security.
They will also be required to issue Permits to Work and ensure adherence to safety procedures, conduct routine inspections, and develop and implement maintenance plans.
