We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hygiene Team Leader to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe's Ruskington site.
Shift Patterns:
- Morning Shift - 06:00 - 14:00
- Afternoon Shift - 14:00 - 22:00
- 5 out of 7 days a week with Sunday as a permanent rest day, 40h per week.
As a Hygiene Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of operatives and ensuring that work areas, machinery, and equipment are cleaned to the highest standards and cleaning schedules are met at all times.
You will take ownership of your work and support your team in achieving best results while ensuring everyone complies with Company Policies and Procedures, Health & Safety, COSHH, and Food Safety rules at all times.
Your duties may involve working at heights, confined spaces, cold and warm environments.
We are looking for a candidate with strong communication skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to lead and motivate the team. Previous experience working in a Hygiene Department is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Ensure cleaning schedules are met and work areas are maintained to the highest standards
- Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery to ensure they are in good working order
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement improvements to cleaning processes and procedures
