About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Avant Homes. As a Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in the planning and implementation of our site build programme, ensuring that our developments are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the effective compliance, control, and deployment of the site, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with our company's policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the management of the development, including the coordination of labour and sub-contractor activities, to ensure that the build programme is delivered on schedule.
  • Engage fully in the process of determining and agreeing development build activities, working closely with our sales and marketing teams to ensure that our customers' needs are met.
  • Take ownership of the management of all onsite labour and sub-contractor activities, ensuring that the site complies with current health and safety standards.
  • Actively manage communications with customers, providing them with regular updates on the progress of their development.
  • Effectively manage the development by promoting a customer-focused culture, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
  • Attend weekly sales and build site meetings, providing updates on the progress of the development and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Assist in the production of key status reports and updates on all KPIs relating to the development.
Requirements
  • A relevant qualification or proven experience within construction management, including a SMSTS qualification.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction build programmes and Scottish building regulations.
  • Experience of timber frame construction.
