Registered Veterinary Nurse - 4 Day Week Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Theatre, kennel, lab, prep room, dispensary, and x-ray duties
  2. Adhering to standard operating procedures
  3. Assisting with reception duties, including holiday cover
  4. Supporting work experience students
  5. Cleaning and maintaining the surgery and equipment

The working hours are 40 hours per week over 4/5 days, with flexible shifts between 8am-7pm. The role includes 1:4 Saturday shifts, 8am-1pm, with no out-of-hours work required.

This is a forward-thinking, purpose-built veterinary practice set in rural Bedfordshire. The practice has a range of equipment, including an in-house lab, digital x-ray, and two theatres.

The team consists of 4 registered veterinary nurses supporting one full-time and two part-time vets, as well as two full-time and two part-time receptionists, an assistant practice manager, and a practice director.
