Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Derbyshire County Council. This role involves maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is £38,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including a generous holiday entitlement and occupational pension scheme.
Key Responsibilities- Maintaining and repairing vehicles, plant, and equipment
- Undertaking daily inspections to identify potential issues
- Driving LGV Class C licensed vehicles
- City and Guilds in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent qualification
- Approved MOT Tester for Class IV & VII vehicles
- Current LGV Class C Licence or willingness to obtain within 12 months
The successful candidate will be based at the council's transport facility at Doe Lea, where they will work alongside a team of experienced mechanics and engineers.
