About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Lead to join our team at Simplyhealth. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to support the testing of software applications.
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborate with software developers to ensure that defects are identified and resolved promptly.
  • Develop and implement test automation strategies to ensure that software applications meet the required quality standards.
  • Contribute to the development of quality and test processes in line with Agile and Scrum principles.
About You

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience of leading and coaching a team of QA engineers.
  • Experience of performing test automation for software applications, delivering high-quality solutions on a range of medium to large-scale projects.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, ideally with an understanding of the shift-left approach.
  • Proficient in UI and API testing.
  • Confident in a range of test automation frameworks, including Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and RestAssured.
