Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Generalist Consultant to join our team at 6point6. As a key member of our Cyber Practice, you will be responsible for assessing and mitigating security risks, developing and implementing security policies and procedures, and providing expert advice on security best practices to clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure organisational security objectives are met
* Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop recommendations for improvement
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and understanding of security policies
* Provide guidance and support to business units on compliance-related issues and the implementation of security controls
* Monitor and evaluate compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field
* Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
* Proven experience in a cyber security role, with a focus on consultancy
* Comprehensive understanding of security principles, techniques, and technologies
* Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
