Cement Mixer Driver

At Tarmac, we're seeking a motivated and experienced Cement Mixer Driver to join our team for a large infrastructure project in the West Midlands area.

This role is based at our site in Birmingham and is easily commutable from surrounding areas. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for safely delivering ready-mix concrete and other products to site, adhering to tight timelines and meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Your duties will include:

• Operating a cement mixer vehicle to transport materials to site
• Maintaining accurate records of load details on our systems
• Ensuring vehicles are regularly checked and defects reported to the Transport Manager
• Working safely and legally, adhering to current driving regulations
• Collaborating with the office team for instructions and information

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A valid LGV (HGV) Class 2 licence
• A Digital Tacho Card
• A CPC/DQC Qualification Card
• Previous experience in site work, preferably with RMX mixers
• Knowledge of Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
