Job Title: Financial Reporting Advisory Specialist

Job Summary:

RSM is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Advisory Specialist to join our growing financial reporting advisory national team. As a key member of the team, you will support the delivery of complex accountancy related projects for clients, focusing on technical accounting, financial reporting, and consolidations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support managers in delivering complex accountancy projects, including IFRS transition consultancy work and acquisition accounting and complex consolidations.
  2. Manage a portfolio of clients and projects, including client care responsibilities, project management, and WIP/billing management.
  3. Liaise with other departments within the office, especially the audit and tax teams.
  4. Act as a coach to junior team members and participate in staff training and supervision.
  5. Travel to client premises as required, with a significant proportion of work being office-based.

Requirements:

  • UK GAAP and IFRS financial reporting experience.
  • Strong understanding of UK financial reporting requirements.
  • Ability to demonstrate commercial awareness and add value.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Experience of supervising junior staff.
  • High competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
