At Aviva, we are seeking a highly skilled Lead Quality Engineer and Transformation Expert to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to drive quality engineering excellence and transformation initiatives.

About the Role

This role involves working closely with all roles in IT and senior business stakeholders to understand the impact on users and our customers. You will be responsible for delivering specific projects and working across the platform on transformation and innovation activities in collaboration with other teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive quality engineering excellence through system development life cycle methodologies, implementing QE metrics, delivering efficiency, automation, and quality improvements.
  • Set QE standards and patterns, implementing best practices, asset libraries, test data, and tooling strategies.
  • Mentor other members of the team, leading through coaching and developing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the estate.
  • Define and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies as they relate to QE standards and patterns.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in system development life cycle methodologies and implementing QE metrics.
  • Knowledge of QE standards and patterns, including best practices, asset libraries, test data, and tooling strategies.
  • Skills in mentoring and coaching, with experience in developing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to define and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies.
