Role Overview:
As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will be essential in supporting the nursery class, helping to create a stimulating and safe learning atmosphere for the children. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with early years experience, particularly those who are enthusiastic about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and are comfortable with personal care tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the nursery teacher in planning and delivering engaging educational activities.
- Provide tailored support for children with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Create a warm, inclusive, and safe environment for all children
- Help with personal care routines and support children's well-being
- Maintain records of children's progress and behavioral observations.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working in early years settings.
- A strong passion for supporting children with SEN, crucial for a successful Nursery Teaching Assistant.
- Have a upbeat and personable personality who forms quick rapport with children, staff and parents
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- A caring and positive approach to children's development and well-being
