Job Overview: Medical Device Hardware Designer

Premier Group Recruitment is working with a start-up designing medical device wearables to find a skilled Medical Device Hardware Designer. The primary responsibility of this position is to design and develop electronic hardware for medical devices, ensuring compliance with relevant standards through thorough testing and validation. Additionally, the successful candidate will work closely with the R&D team to develop new prototypes from concept to release.

This role requires strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities, experience with regulated environments/standards, and a degree in Electronics or another relevant discipline. Familiarity with Altium for PCB design and layout, analogue and digital circuit design, hardware debugging/validation, prototyping/testing, and embedded software development (Embedded C/C++) is also desired. The estimated salary for this position is £50,000 - £75,000 per annum.
