Mechanical Fitter for Water Sector

A highly skilled Mechanical Fitter is sought after by our client, a prominent water industry contractor. The ideal candidate will possess water industry experience and be open to working away from home.
Key Responsibilities:- Installation of pipework made from steel
- Participation in various water and waste water projects including pump maintenance, pipe fitting, bridge repair, and other related duties
- Installation of FBE coated flanged pipework up to 800mm diameter
- Installation of pumps, valves, and other plant equipment
- Hold a qualification as a mechanical fitter (NVQ or City and Guilds level 3)
- Hold a valid CSCS card
- Hold EUSR (Blue Water Hygiene) certification
- Hold IPAF and PASMA certifications
This position comes with a competitive hourly wage of £26-£29, paid through CIS or Umbrella schemes. With 46 hours of work per week, this role presents excellent opportunities for career advancement and personal growth in the water sector.
