Mechanical Fitter for Water Sector

A highly skilled Mechanical Fitter is sought after by our client, a prominent water industry contractor. The ideal candidate will possess water industry experience and be open to working away from home.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Installation of pipework made from steel
  2. Participation in various water and waste water projects including pump maintenance, pipe fitting, bridge repair, and other related duties
  3. Installation of FBE coated flanged pipework up to 800mm diameter
  4. Installation of pumps, valves, and other plant equipment
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
  1. Hold a qualification as a mechanical fitter (NVQ or City and Guilds level 3)
  2. Hold a valid CSCS card
  3. Hold EUSR (Blue Water Hygiene) certification
  4. Hold IPAF and PASMA certifications

This position comes with a competitive hourly wage of £26-£29, paid through CIS or Umbrella schemes. With 46 hours of work per week, this role presents excellent opportunities for career advancement and personal growth in the water sector.
