We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Surgeon to work in our Ashton-under-Lyne clinic on a part-time night shift basis. About the Role

This role involves providing top-quality veterinary care and treatment to a diverse range of animals, including routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency care as required. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records for each patient, collaborating with a dedicated team of veterinary nurses and support staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic during your shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Patient Care: Deliver high-quality veterinary services to a variety of animals, including routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency care.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure detailed and accurate medical records are kept for each patient, facilitating effective communication and informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with a dedicated team of veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure seamless clinic operations.
  • Ensure Efficient Clinic Operations: Take responsibility for the smooth running of the clinic during your shifts, optimizing workflow and resource allocation.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Veterinary Degree: Hold a veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent) and possess a strong understanding of veterinary principles and practices.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and patients.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Show capacity to work independently, making sound judgments and decisions in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in Routine and Emergency Care: Possess experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care, preferably in a similar setting.
