Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for leading penetration testing and security assessments, developing and implementing security strategies, and mentoring junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead application penetration testing and source code review
- Conduct cloud platform penetration testing
- Perform vulnerability and penetration assessments on internal and external infrastructure
- Develop and apply exploits to gain access and expand access to remote systems
- Document technical issues identified during security assessments
- Mentor junior colleagues and support managers as needed
- Perform peer review and quality checks on work product from other colleagues
- Participate in instructor-led and self-guided training activities, including pursuing company-funded security certifications

Requirements
- Experience in performing application, infrastructure, and cloud platform penetration testing independently
- Development and/or source code review experience in one or more of the following languages: C/C++, C#, VB.NET, ASP, PHP, Python, or Java
- Familiarity with threat modeling and security design review methodologies
- Good understanding of Unix, Windows, and network security
- CREST Certified Tester (CCT) or equivalent
- Excellent written and communication skills in English
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Passion for technology and a drive for self-learning, paired with good customer-facing skills
- Additional security and penetration testing certifications
- Experience working as part of an enterprise development team
- Experience developing custom scripts or tools used for penetration testing
