Detail Draughtsperson

We are seeking a skilled Detail Draughtsperson to join our team at Porvair Filtration Group. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and design packages for manufacture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project engineers to produce high-quality design packages from proposals and specifications.
  • Create detail manufacturing and installation drawings, factory acceptance procedures, and installation and operation manuals.
  • Review and incorporate engineering change orders, and produce proposal drawings in conjunction with sales and applications engineers.
  • Perform basic design analysis, such as tolerance and interference checks, and simple mechanical calculations.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and planning teams to ensure design for manufacture and value engineering principles are applied.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, computer-aided design, and manufacturing. They will be highly motivated, driven, and able to work effectively in a team environment. We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 based on experience.
