Construction Instructor

**Austin Fraser is seeking a dedicated and skilled Bricklaying Lecturer to join our Further Education college in Carshalton, London.**

• Estimated Salary: £31,600 - £41,200 per annum.
• Job Type: Full-Time Temporary Position.

This role involves teaching both Level 1 and Level 2 bricklaying courses, with a focus on delivering engaging and informative lessons that meet curriculum standards.

The successful candidate will have the ability to prepare lesson plans and teaching materials, stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in bricklaying and construction, and participate in departmental meetings and training events.

• Teaching: Deliver high-quality lessons in bricklaying to students at Level 1 and Level 2.
• Lesson Planning: Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards.
• Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in bricklaying and construction.
• Teamwork: Participate in departmental meetings, training, and college events.

• Experience: Proven experience in bricklaying, either in an educational setting or within the industry.
• Qualifications: Qualified to teach at FE level (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent teaching qualification).
• Skills: Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of bricklaying and construction.
