Our engineering department is a collaborative environment where talented engineers work together to drive innovation and excellence.

We're seeking a skilled Kotlin developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge products.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, architecture, and algorithms.

As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive technical standards and decisions.

We're committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, and we encourage our engineers to experiment with new technologies and approaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to develop solutions that meet business needs.
  • Design, develop, and test high-quality software using Kotlin and JVM technologies.
  • Contribute to the development of technical standards, decisions, and strategy.
  • Participate in hackathons and experimentation to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Work with other engineering teams to manage cross-team dependencies and cooperate on Engineering-wide initiatives.
  • Support our product in production by joining an on-call rota.
Required Experience and Skills
  • Experience using Kotlin/JVM technologies with Spring & Hibernate.
  • Understanding of Version Control Systems (VCS) and the principles behind them.
  • Basic knowledge of Python and/or Typescript is a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrably good working knowledge of fundamental computer science and software engineering principles.
  • Experience of a complete product development lifecycle.
