We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a busy foundry operations and manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with production and team leaders to prioritize machine breakdowns and ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct daily scheduled TPMs to a high standard, promoting a culture of excellence and reliability.
- Effectively communicate shift handovers and provide clear updates to colleagues.
- Participate in project work and plant improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist the Works engineer in root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring breakdowns.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of risk assessment and work safely protocols.
- Engage in discussions with managers and supervisors to address production activity and problems.
- Collaborate with direct managers to discuss work requirements and issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in heavy industry, with a strong background in electrical maintenance.
- Time served Apprenticeship or HNC qualifications, with a focus on electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in PLC programming for fault finding and troubleshooting.
This role operates on a Panama Shift Pattern, working days only.
