About the Role

DataCamp is a leading provider of data science and AI education, and we're seeking a skilled Data Science Content Developer to join our team. As a key member of our Curriculum team, you will play a critical role in creating high-quality content that empowers learners to succeed in the field of data science.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Develop new and engaging data science content for our platform, including courses, practice pools, and projects.
  • Content Maintenance: Ensure our existing library is up-to-date and of the highest quality by performing regular maintenance and updates.
  • Quality Assurance: Write automated tests in Python and SQL to provide personalized feedback for learners and ensure the quality of our content.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to enable content creation for more advanced technical topics and provide critical feedback on specifications for new content.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Make data-driven suggestions for content improvements based on learner feedback and engagement data.
  • Project Management: Manage the course development process from post-planning through course launch, prioritizing maintenance initiatives on existing content using data to inform which efforts will have the biggest impact on our library.
Requirements
  • Technical Background: Strong technical background with experience in Python and SQL, as well as experience in topics like Machine Learning and Programming.
  • Education: Has completed online courses from DataCamp and/or other providers.
  • Communication: Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
