We are seeking a highly skilled Auditor to join our team at NHS Fife. As an Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of governance and compliance across our health board region.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough and independent audits of corporate, clinical, staff, financial, and information governance processes
- Develop and implement audit programs to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for change
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and implementation of audit findings
- Stay up-to-date with relevant policies, procedures, and best practices in the NHS
- Relevant qualifications, such as HND, degree, or Association of Accounting Technicians
- Proven experience in internal audit or a related field, preferably in the public sector
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- IT literacy and ability to work with various software systems
- Knowledge of NHS policies, practices, and procedures
