Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our team at Aspire People. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a well-established primary school in Desford, Leicestershire, providing a high-quality education for young learners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting the development of young children, as well as experience teaching within the UK primary education system or recent graduates with strong classroom placement experience. A current DBS certificate or willingness to apply is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Uphold the school's ethos, vision, and values.

Essential Criteria:
  1. UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
  2. Experience teaching within the UK primary education system or recent graduates with strong classroom placement experience.
  3. A current DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one).
  4. Passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting the development of young children.

Desirable Criteria:
  1. Experience teaching across different year groups.
  2. A proactive and flexible approach to school life.
  3. A strong desire for continuous professional development.
