The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is currently seeking a Clinical Fellow in ENT Surgery to join our team. As a Clinical Fellow, you will be responsible for managing acute and chronic general medical diseases under supervision and conducting daily ward rounds. You will also participate in theatre procedures, including pre-op and post-op care, and manage elective ENT surgery. Additionally, you will supervise junior ENT doctors and teach them important skills.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to pursue Membership examinations in your chosen specialty and develop formal teaching or research skills. The post can be tailored to suit doctors at several stages of their career, making it an attractive option for those looking to advance their careers in ENT Surgery.
Main Responsibilities and Requirements- Manage acute and chronic general medical diseases under supervision
- Conduct daily ward rounds and manage emergency admissions
- Participate in theatre procedures including pre-op and post-op care
- Manage elective ENT surgery and supervise junior ENT doctors
- Teach junior ENT doctors and contribute to the training of junior staff members
- On-call duties at Tier 2 level
