Job Title: Electrical Technical Engineer

ZipRecruiter is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technical Engineer to join our team at the Portsmouth Naval Base. As an Electrical Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out installations and maintenance of electrical equipment, including temporary heating, environmental monitoring, and LEV systems.

You will also be required to assist with equipment breakdowns and workshop/warehouse activities at the Naval Base. Training will be provided to ensure you have the necessary skills to excel in this role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical/Electrical (LEV) Engineer to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out on-site technical engineering installations and maintenance on all Company equipment types across the Naval Base.
  2. Maintain a high level of site health and safety awareness.
  3. Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment in the 'ready for hire' process.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 3 years electrical/mechanical engineering experience.
  2. Knowledge of Occupational Hygiene Hazards and Controls.
  3. Knowledge of temporary ventilation systems (beneficial).
  4. Formal Electrical Qualification essential.
  5. Good electrical/mechanical knowledge.
  6. Good IT skills and communication skills (verbal & written).
  7. Full Driving Licence essential.
