Job Title: Newly Qualified Teacher Position

Job Description:

SET Recruitment is a leading supplier of teaching staff to local schools in RCT. We are currently seeking a Newly Qualified Teacher to join our team. As a Newly Qualified Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of schools and students, gaining valuable experience and building your teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the Welsh curriculum
• Willingness to go above and beyond and to get involved with all aspects of life at the school
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to succeed
• Ensure a great environment in which any support staff can truly flourish and realise their full potential
• Fantastic behaviour management skills
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and other staff members to monitor student progress and implement effective strategies for improvement
• Uphold the school's policies and procedures, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment for all

Requirements:

• Candidates would have their own transport to ensure they can get to several schools easily to maximise their opportunities
• Being willing to commit to full time work Monday to Friday from 8.30-15.30 to ensure continuity and stability for all students
• Completed a PGCE or the final year of Primary Education
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of all students
• Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond positively to the changing needs of students and the school community
