We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Resource Recruitment. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and negotiating contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure efficient supply chain management.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Sourcing of new suppliers, evaluating quality, price, delivery, and service.
  • Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Purchasing / Procurement / Buying role.
  • Experience in the manufacturing / engineering environment.
  • Experience of subcontract buying.
  • CIPS is advantageous.
  • PC literate with experience of using Excel, word and CRM / ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
