About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join our team at Blackburn College. As a key member of our curriculum team, you will contribute to the growth and development of programmes within the School of Science, Engineering & Business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Mechanical Engineering courses to students aged 14-19 years old
  • Develop and deliver high-quality curriculum content
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high standard of quality provision
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant level 4 qualification or above in Mechanical Engineering
  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • Previous experience of working with young people aged 14-19 years old
  • A strong awareness of contemporary developments within the sector
