Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000, depending on experience.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the inspection team and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of inspectors in the daily supervision of inspection tasks in the Inspection department.
  • Liaising with 3rd party inspectors when required to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitoring the performance of the inspection team and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Working closely with the Inspection Supervisor to implement efficient practices and maximize output.
  • Mentoring trainee inspectors to develop their skills and knowledge.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for verifying material descriptions against work orders, assessing material suitability for inspection, and drawing attention to conditions that should be reported to customers. They will also interact with customer representatives to ensure their reasonable expectations are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of drilling tubulars and pipe yards, as well as computer literacy including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook. They will also have MPI/LPI/EMI/UT qualifications and NS-2/DS-1 specifications experience.
