Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Merchandising Specialist. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for placing point-of-sale (POS) materials in designated areas of our Asda stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Sign into the store and introduce yourself to key store contacts
• Liaise with store colleagues to locate previously delivered POS materials
• Place POS materials in pre-arranged sections of the store, using a stepladder as needed

Requirements

• Ability to work every Wednesday evening/Thursday morning to complete visits
• Availability to work between 8pm Wednesday and 8am Thursday (hours may vary week to week)
• Ownership of a smartphone (Android or Apple) to report visits
• Comfortable using a stepladder to place POS materials at height
• Proficiency in navigating app-based systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced store environment, potentially moving heavier boxes or stock
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with POS materials
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
