Revolutionize Space Systems as a Principal Power Electronics Engineer

Belcan is seeking a highly skilled Principal Power Electronics Engineer to join our cutting-edge team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and owning cutting-edge power electronics projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop optimized point-of-load converters for RF and digital modules, as well as standalone dc-dc converter modules.
  • Tackle isolated and non-isolated DC-DC converters, solar power converters with maximum power point tracking, magnetics design, system-level power management, and more.

As a principal engineer, you will own hardware designs from concept to production, including product roadmaps, block diagrams, PCB layouts, and in-orbit support. You will also serve as a technical and professional mentor to the team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 9 years of industry or research experience in power electronics design, analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven success in designing, testing, and deploying power electronics products.
  • Proficiency in Altium and PCB layout for power circuits.
  • Hands-on experience with lab instruments like oscilloscopes and spectrum analysers.
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
  • Space electronics design and qualification.
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC design and mitigation techniques.
