About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team in Southampton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and maintaining accurate records of all purchase ledger transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the purchase ledger processing is up to date, with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as required.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and receive and post invoices.
  • Perform weekly reconciliation of young people budget.
  • Load invoices on Auto Entry daily and post them to SAGE.
  • Authorise invoices for payment and assist with discrepancies.
  • Administer utilities for all Sportfit properties.
  • Perform monthly supplier invoice reconciliation on SAGE.
  • Filing and answering phone calls and emails.
Requirements
  • Experience in accounts payable and reconciliation.
  • Good working knowledge of SAGE.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when necessary.
  • Excellent computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Excel, SAGE, and Outlook.
