Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join Academics Ltd as an Educational Assistant for Children with Additional Needs. This role involves providing personalized academic support to children who require extra assistance due to various learning challenges.

The ideal candidate will have a heart for helping children reach their full potential and thrive in an inclusive environment. They will be responsible for providing individualized academic support, assisting children in understanding concepts, and developing effective study skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized academic support tailored to the specific needs of each child.
  • Assist children in understanding concepts, completing assignments, and developing effective study skills.
  • Offer emotional support, creating a safe space for children to express themselves and build confidence.
  • Set achievable goals and milestones with children, tracking progress and celebrating successes.
  • Advocate for the rights and needs of children with additional needs within the educational system.
  • Liaise with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to support.
  • Empower children to become more independent learners and develop essential life skills.

  • Salary: £85 per day (negotiable)
  • Hours: Full-Time and Part-Time contracts available
