Datacentre Facilities Operations Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Facilities Operations Engineer to join our team at Amazon. This role will be responsible for monitoring the data centre's physical infrastructure and serving as a central monitoring location for facility electrical and mechanical systems.
About the RoleThis position is ideal for an individual with a strong understanding of data centre IT infrastructure and facilities infrastructure. The successful candidate will have experience functioning in a large-scale data centre and demonstrated ability to think outside the box.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor data centre facilities infrastructure platform
- Serve as Point of Contact for internal and external teams
- Assist in development of communication and escalation protocols
- Contribute to outage post mortem analysis
- Ensure records are updated in timely manner
- Assist with coordination and communication during emergency recovery efforts
- Develop tools to enhance team performance
- 2+ years of Electrical or Mechanical Experience
- 1+ years of experience working with Building and/or Electrical Platform Management Systems
- 2+ Years' Experience in Data Centre Engineering/ Operations
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
