About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse to join our team at Albyn Hospital in Aberdeen, Scotland. As a bank nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor the physical and emotional well-being of cancer patients
  • Administer chemotherapy medications and other treatments as prescribed
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and side effects
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Requirements

  • Valid NMC Registration
  • Evidence of relevant clinical professional development
  • Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice
  • Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability
