We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Dermatologist to join our team at Cromwell Road Primary Care Centre in Grimsby. As a key member of our dermatology service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with a range of skin conditions.
Main Responsibilities- Provide consultant-led care to patients with skin conditions, including general dermatology, patch testing, biologics, and phototherapy.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop care pathways and clinical guidelines.
- Offer support and leadership to junior medical colleagues and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
- Consult with patients to determine skin ailments, prescribe medication, and undertake skin therapy treatment.
- Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework and motivate colleagues to deliver high-quality care.
- Full registration with the GMC.
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Dermatology or within 6 months of CCT date.
- Demonstrates clarity in written and spoken communication.
- Good interpersonal skills, courteous to patients and staff.
- Enthusiastic team player.
- Open and reflective.
- Computer literate in office, internet applications, and literature searches.
- Experience of clinical audit.
- Effective communication skills, enthusiasm, and approachability.
