About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our client, a leading business in Stockton, on a contract basis. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in assisting the company through a busy period, ensuring the smooth management of accounts receivable and credit control processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Chase payments and maintain debtor days to agreed targets, ensuring timely resolution of invoice issues.
  • Liaise with internal departmental managers to resolve invoice discrepancies and maintain accurate ledgers.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage aged debt, highlighting concerns and providing recommendations for improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in accounts receivable and credit control, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will be confident in your ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
