About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Technical Coordinator to join our UK Construction Team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in the industry, with expertise in RC frames and high-rise residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality management
  • Assist and report to the Technical Manager on project progress
  • Ensure comprehensive review and coordination of all project information, including drawings, specifications, and technical submissions
  • Liaise with the design team to track progress against the design program, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project timelines
  • Manage the collation and issuance of tender and construction drawings, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
  • Conduct thorough as-built demise checks, comparing completed work to project specifications and brochures, ensuring adherence to design intent
  • Provide on-site support as needed, assisting with construction logistics, phasing plans, and coordination of specialist subcontractor approvals
  • Collaborate effectively with various teams, including design, construction, and specialist subcontractors, to maintain efficient communication and ensure project documentation is complete
  • Ensure timely closure of RFIs and secure necessary approvals from specialist subcontractors to maintain the construction program
  • Assist with the compilation of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals to ensure proper documentation for future project management

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant Degree or diploma in industry-related field, or working towards a degree
  • Must have experience working for developers, high-rise residential mixed-use schemes
  • Experience of assisting with coordinating and managing the design team
  • Enthusiastic about construction, and driven are key attributes
