About the Role

Our Infrastructure team specializes in delivering projects globally, with extensive experience in Renewables, Technology, Transport, and Utilities. Our goal is to create infrastructure that leaves a lasting legacy, well-integrated into the physical, human, and economic environment.

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team, providing pre and post-contract/commercial management advice and partnering with our customers. A typical day may include:

  • Providing strategic review of commercial models and contracts
  • Contract administration
  • Reviewing and advising on commercial impact of contract matters
  • Adjudicating and providing advice on contractual entitlement of Compensation Events
  • Managing Change and Risk through EWN's and CE's
  • Approving key Subcontracts and producing project reports
  • Reviewing and advising on proposed procurement strategies and supply chain matters
  • Reviewing and recommending approval of subcontract tender reports
  • Processing Applications for Payment
  • Adjudicating and advising on Quotations for Compensation Events
  • Attending/leading Commercial/Contract meetings
  • Complying with Quality Management Systems, processes, and procedures
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a proven background working or supporting on UK Infrastructure Projects, preferably in Highways. Experience with NEC3/4 contracts, corporate risk and audit functions, cost verification, internal/external audit, and financial reviews on significant infrastructure and construction projects is essential.

Key skills include:

  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Methodical approach to work
  • Good organizational skills and adaptability
  • Excellent problem, negotiating, finance, and numeracy management skills
  • Sound ICT skills, with proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI
  • Experience in contract management and administration systems
  • Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and/or lead a team, depending on level
Qualifications

MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or working towards is required.
