At Great Connections Employment Services, we are seeking an experienced Automation, Quality, and Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automated equipment maintenance and quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Perform changeover, cleaning & sanitization on automated & manual equipment following Master Filling Packaging Specifications & perform generic filling duties as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair process automation problems and equipment failures to minimize production downtime, including root cause analysis.
- Work with the designated team/person in the design stage of processes for set-up and current production projects.
- Keep the work area organized and clean following 5S principles.
- Perform regular autonomous maintenance activities, including maintaining adequate stock of consumable machine parts & supplies.
- Provide training to operators to increase efficiency.
- Visually inspect products and components for obvious defects during the process, reporting any defects to the Quality Inspector.
- Participate in meetings with supervisors, co-workers, and employees to plan upcoming activities and update projects.
- Committed to quality, safety, and communication.
- Flexible for overtime.
