About the Role

CATCH Recovery is seeking an experienced addiction therapist to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our outpatient centre, you will provide comprehensive addiction therapy services to patients transitioning back home from residential facilities in Scotland or Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to patients with addiction issues
  • Develop and maintain accurate electronic patient records
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
  • Provide weekly progress reports to the CATCH management team
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in addiction therapy
  • Current accreditation with a recognised professional body (e.g., BACP, UKCP, COSCA)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in multiple therapeutic modalities, including 12-step facilitation, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based approaches
  • Substantial experience providing psychotherapy in addiction treatment settings
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly KIPU
  • Valid liability insurance and current DBS check
