About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Rates Officer to join our Shared Services Partnership team. As a key member of our NNDR team, you will be responsible for determining NNDR liability, awarding exemptions and reliefs, and maintaining the commercial rating list and database.

You will work closely with our recovery section to prepare cases for court hearings and make decisions that require discretion. Your excellent interpersonal and customer service skills will be essential in providing detailed statements and calculations.

We are looking for a skilled business rates practitioner with good organisational and IT skills, experience of using the Academy database, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
