Electrical Maintenance Technician

Alecto Recruitment is working with a market leader in the Anaerobic Digestion sector to find an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for their site in Widnes.
Job SummaryThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires working on a 4 on 4 off 12-hour shift pattern of days and nights. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day maintenance of all plant and machinery, as well as routine electrical maintenance and repairs according to planned maintenance schedules.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out day-to-day maintenance of all plant and machinery.
- Carry out routine electrical maintenance and repairs according to planned maintenance schedules.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
- Provide production support within the shift team and provide shift cover when required.
- Assist other mechanical/operational departments when required.
- Ideal experience of an Anaerobic Digestion facility or related experience.
- Must have served a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship.
- Extensive Electrical experience working in a continuous process environment.
- Familiar with general factory maintenance practices.
- Conversant with basic PLC logic and inverter drives.
- 14 shifts holiday per annum increasing over length of service.
- Company Pension.
- Eligible to opt into private healthcare plan after 2 years of service.
