Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults and implement effective repairs.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles to the highest industry standards.
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately within dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Carry out vehicle inspections and MOT tests (if qualified) to ensure vehicles meet regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including vehicle history and maintenance schedules.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a main dealer or independent garage.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair).
  • MOT Tester qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency with automotive systems and technology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Valid UK driving license.
