Children in Need Social Worker Position

A dedicated opportunity has arisen for a qualified social worker to join our team in London Borough of Camden. This role will involve working with children in need and their families, providing support and guidance to help them overcome challenging situations.
The ideal candidate will have post-qualifying experience of working as a qualified social worker in a children in need team within the UK social care industry. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, service users, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report writing and preparation
- Working with PLO (Public Law Outline)
- Attending child protection meetings, case conferences, and LAC reviews
- Utilizing children in need plans to work directly with children
- Court reports and section 47s
- Core assessments and managing caseloads
