Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising a cross-functional team to deliver high levels of customer service, stock management, and cash handling. The ideal candidate will be able to work at pace, be flexible, and adaptable to meet the needs of the store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of sales associates and stockroom staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient stock management.
  • Workforce planning and resource allocation to meet the needs of the store.
  • Drive pace and accuracy in processing deliveries and minimizing stock loss/damage.
  • Ensure compliance with all procedures relating to the movement of stock and handling of stock.
  • Support and implement best practice and principles to ensure store teams operate efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive cash handling service.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with relevant departmental policies, including Health & Safety and legislative requirements.
  • Regular communication with Store Manager and Service Managers on stock levels.
  • Work effectively with 3rd party contractors to ensure a safe, clean, and secure environment.
Requirements:
  • Relevant supervisory experience in a customer-facing and stock-handling environment.
  • Proven track record of working at pace to deliver results against targets and deadlines.
  • Ability to influence and challenge.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and delivering results against deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
