About the Role

GKN Aerospace is seeking an experienced ERP Systems Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our business systems team, you will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements, providing a clear roadmap for development projects, and ensuring the effective utilization of our ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct business process analysis and consultation to establish ERP needs.
  • Provide strategic guidance to leverage current ERP capabilities and lead the business in proper ERP utilization, deployment, and upgrades.
  • Assess requests for new projects, initiatives, and enhancements to the ERP systems and coordinate ERP-related activities with the development team.
  • Ensure quality of ERP upgrades, patches, and/or enhancements through coordinated testing.
  • Adhere to the ERP change control process and provide technical support and training to ERP end-users.
  • Document ERP processes and adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ERP upgrades and offerings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an ERP or related field in a large-scale manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with Microsoft SSRS and relational databases using SQL (preferably Oracle).
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • Ability to effectively work with end-users and business teams for requirements gathering, understanding customer needs, testing, etc.
  • U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Cincom Control is desired.
  • Great organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be proactive and take initiative.
  • Works independently with minimal guidance required.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • A background in business administration and/or project management.
  • Strong business analysis background with a track record of delivering large, complex ERP projects.
  • Experience working in an Aerospace and Defense environment.
