Senior Data Engineer

About the RoleYou'll be part of a multi-disciplinary, agile data delivery team focused on delivering data-driven insights to support business decision-making. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and implementing data pipelines, transforming and modeling data, and driving a data-first culture across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement complex data pipelines using various data sources, including databases, flat files, APIs, and event-driven data feeds.
- Transform, cleanse, and model data into our enterprise data warehouse for consumption by technical and non-technical users.
- Drive a data-first culture by supporting continual learning and development within the data team and data enablement across the wider business.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions to address them.
- Demonstrable experience in developing data pipelines, data transformations, and data modeling using dbt and cloud data warehouse technology.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments, using Scrum and/or Kanban, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of SQL and experience working with data from various sources, including databases, flat files, APIs, and event-driven data feeds.
- Experience with cloud storage, containerization, event-driven services, orchestration, cloud functions, and basic security/user management.
